Traditional Mexican Melodies
17 Songs in lead sheet format for marimba and all instruments

by Israel Moreno & Arthur Lipner

physical & digital, 36 pgs, released Nov. '23

“For years I've been searching for lead sheets of Mexican music. I'm thrilled to share this fantastic collection with the world! Israel and I have included examples of how to play the basic grooves with bass and chords (see below). The music is so idiomatic for marimba - and so fun to play!

Play these pieces solo, with a band, or make arrangements for your own ensemble.  Enjoy the wonderful traditions of Mexican marimba music!"
